Skinnerdoodle Puppy Contract

This contract is legal and binding between Cheri Skinner and Lindsie Taylor of Skinner Doodles Breeders/Sellers and the Buyer. The intent of this contract is to protect both the Buyer and the Seller.

To the best of our knowledge your pet is healthy at the time of sale. Validation of this guarantee must be made by a licensed veterinarian of your choice. The veterinarian must examine the puppy with (72) hours of the date of delivery or pickup of the purchased puppy.  If you choose not to have pet examined within the (72) hours of date of delivery this contract is void, and no refund applies.

If within 72 hours of receiving the puppy and he/she is found to be at risk due to a life threatening congenital defect (existing at birth), owner shall notify breeder and provide a written statement from two licensed vets describing the puppy's condition. Breeder will accept the return of the puppy if the puppy has not been exposed to infectious disease of any kind. Buyer understands, that all shipping costs to and from the Breeder are the Buyer's sole responsibility and will not be refunded.

Breeder will replace the puppy provided that the puppy is in the same condition mentally and physically as when originally purchased from the Breeder. The following conditions do not warrant the return of the puppy; Bordetella, worms, ticks, fleas, mites, cocci, giardia, or other parasites, as they are common in dogs and puppies.

Breeder guarantees the puppy against any congenital defect causing death of or making necessary euthanasia until 6 months of age. Upon receipt of a letter to the breeder from two veterinarians stating that in his/her opinion this condition is congenital, puppy will be replaced or buyer will be refunded the purchase price of the puppy, this is the ONLY situation where the Seller will refund purchase price.

If any one of these conditions listed below is not met this guarantee is null and void.

1. Vet checked within 72 hours of obtaining the purchased puppy.
2. The Guarantee applies to the original purchaser of the puppy only.
3. Buyer agrees to provide veterinary care at periodic intervals to include regular checkup, worming, heartworm prevention, and the continuation of the vaccination series already started.
4. The puppy receives daily rations of quality food and fresh water such that it is well
nourished and therefore more resistant to sickness.
5. The puppy is housed in a suitable shelter typical for its breed and protected against extreme weather conditions.
6. Failure to comply with and provide all documentation of these requirements voids all guarantees.

Limitations of Guarantee:

A licensed veterinarian must do all laboratory verifications. The buyer/owner is responsible for all transportation costs to and from the breeder. The Breeder is not responsible for any veterinarian expenses or any other expenses accumulated on
Returned or replaced puppies.

Contract and Guarantee must be signed by buyer and returned to seller before the puppy is released (unless other arrangements have been made.)
